LAF director Alexandra Buchler and Clare Azzopardi from the Maltese cultural NGO Inizjamed will be attending the Bologna Book Fair this March to discuss future projects with publishers of books for children and young readers.
The Bologna Children’s Book Fair is the biggest international event dedicated to publishing books for children. In its 47th year, the fair features Slovakia as the guest nation of honour and LAF's partner the Slovak Centre for Information on Literature will be featuring at the fair's Translators' Centre.
Authors, illustrators, literary agents, TV & Film producers, distributors, printers, booksellers, and librarians will all be meeting to sell & buy copyright and find the best of children’s publishing and multimedia production. New professional relationships and collaboration opportunities will be forged.
