Lyrikline is relaunching!

Lyrikline is a unique online poetry resource. It features text and sound recordings of poems by over 850 poets in 58 languages translated into 55 languages. It has been online since 1999 at  www.lyrikline.org but the resource is now being relaunched with a brand new and improved website.

The new site will go live on September 1st 2013. To celebrate Lyrikline are hosting a live event in Berlin on the day with readings from  poets Simen Hagerup (Norway), Els Moors (Belgium), Steffen Popp (Berlin), Pedro Sena-Lino (Portugal), Helena Sinervo (Finland) and Jan Wagner (Berlin). The event takes place at 7pm at CEST in Berlin. (Admission is free, but registration is required by 28th August 2013, email: mail@literaturwerkstatt.org.)

Proceedings will be live-streamed on the night at 7pm UTC+2. And you can explore the poems, from Albania to Zimbabwe, online now at www.lyrikline.org.
