The United Kingdom is the largest source of book translations into other languages, while being the least receptive to writing from other cultures. A study by Literature Across Frontiers takes a comparative look at the position of international writing in the three major European language territories, providing a starting point for a debate on the wider topic of cultural exchange, import and export. Taking part are: Christopher MacLehose (United Kingdom) publisher, Pierre Astier (France) literary agent and ex-publisher, Florian Höllerer (Germany) Literarisches Colloquium Berlin. Chaired by:  Alexandra Büchler (United Kingdom) Literature Across Frontiers
