The goal of the festival is to deepen the literary exchange between the countries of the EU and Mexico, and offer Latin American readers a general landscape of the “Old World’s” contemporary literature. The festival took place for the first time in Feria Internacional del Libro de Guadalajara (FIL) in 2011, with seven representatives from Germany, Austria, Spain, France, Poland, Romania and Sweden, who discussed their works under the topic of passion.
