LAF at the Frankfurt Book Fair 2016


Literature Across Frontiers continues its annual debate programme at the Weltempfang with a presentation of Literary Europe Live and discussion about live literary events.
Experiencing literature live has become a popular way of “reading” and the number of literary festivals and venues across Europe has been steadily growing. Literary curators from around Europe talk about the expectations of literary audiences and about the range of formats literary events take today.
With Mika Buljevic (Croatia), director of Booksa, a literary venue and portal in Zagreb, Ilke Froyen (Belgium), director of the Passa Porta House of Literature and Passa Porta Festival in Brussels, Christiane Lange (Germany), deputy director of Literaturwerkstatt Berlin / Haus für Poesie and Poesiefestival Berlin, Chaired by LAF Director Alexandra Büchler (United Kingdom).
