Literary Translation Centre, London Book Fair 2015

The Literary Translation Centre returns to the London Book Fair this week. The LTC is a hub for learning, debate and networking for all those passionate about the art and business of literary translation. The centre features a curated seminar programme and dedicated meeting area.
Literature Across Frontiers, a co-organiser of the centre, will be at the LTC with a dedicated table. We’ll be available to connect with and to discuss our new statistical report on publishing translations in the UK and Ireland which reveals for the first time reliable figures for the number of literary translations published in English in the UK and Ireland from 1990 – 2012.
LAF director Alexandra Büchler is chairing a session on Tuesday 14th of April at 15:30: ‘Literary Agencies Connecting Continents’ with agents David Lopez-Del Amo, Sridhar Gowda and Victor Hurtado. More information on the rest of the programme is available at: https://www.londonbookfair.co.uk/Whats-On1/interest-area/literary-translation/
