Literatura em Viagem takes place from May 12 to 14 in Matosinhos, Portugal. This year’s LeV aims to generate a discussion about the future of Europe and the European culture.

The festival is featuring more than 20 writers, scientists and journalists from Portugal and abroad, among them famous English writers David Mitchell and Rachel Cusk, Portuguese poet Hélia Correia, Cuban writer Karla Suárez, famous Spanish journalist Xavi Ayén

LeV is also featuring three of ten Literary Europe Live’s New Voices from Europe 2016 – Portuguese novelist Bruno Vieira Amaral, Serbian-Hungarian poet Árpád Kollar and Scottish-Mexican poet and translator Juana Adcock – and Spanish writer Jesús Carrasco who was awarded the EU Prize for Literature in 2016.
