Eurig Salisbury will discuss and read with the Slovenian poet Robert Simonišek who will be spending a month in Aberystwyth on an international residency project.
A collaboration between the francophone Algerian poet Samira Negrouche and the Bangor-based Zoë Skoulding resulted in a poetry sound performance using English and French, as well as Arabic and Tamazight, the other languages Samira Negrouche uses in her multifaceted work. The performance was first showcased at the Ledbury Poetry Festival and at Mosaic Rooms in July 2014 as work in progress, and will be presented at the Globe Road Festival in London on November 15th.
The event is organised as a “postscript” to the North Wales International Poetry Festival and the LITERARY EUROPE LIVE project supported by the Creative Europe Programme and Arts Council Wales. It is presented by Aberystwyth University, Literature Across Frontiers, North Wales International Poetry Festival and Wales Literature Exchange in cooperation with Goga Publishing House (Slovenia) and with support of the Slovenian Ministry of Cultureand Slovenian Book Agency, and with the Globe Road Poetry Festival.

Bydd Eurig Salisbury yn trafod ac yn darllen gyda’r bardd Slofeneg Robert Simonišek sydd yn treulio mis yn Aberystwyth ar breswyliad rhyngwladol.
Wrth iddynt gydweithio, fe greodd y bardd Ffrangeg o Algeria, Samira Negrouche a’r bardd Zoe Skoulding (Bangor) berfformiad sain a barddoniaeth amlieithog gan ddefnyddio Saesneg a Ffrangeg, ynghyd ag Arabeg a Thamasicht, sef yr ieithoedd eraill mae Samira Negrouche yn eu defnyddio yn ei gwaith. Cyflwynwyd y perfformiad yn wreiddiol yng Ngŵyl Barddoniaeth Ledbury ym mis Gorffennaf 2014 ac fe berfformir eto yng Ngŵyl Globe Road, Llundain ar Dachwedd 15fed.
Cynhelir y digwyddiad hwn fel “ôl nodyn” i Ŵyl Farddoniaeth Ryngwladol Gogledd Cymru a phrosiect LITERARY EUROPE LIVE / EWROP LENYDDOL FYW a gefnogir gan y rhaglen Ewrop Greadigol a Chyngor Celfyddydau Cymru.
