Slovene Book Days 2017

19 April 2017 — 23 April 2017
Festivals, Literary Europe Live

The 22nd edition of Slovene Book Days will take place from April 19th to 23th in Ljubljana and partner cities. Among the traditional goals of the festival are raising awareness about the reading culture, facilitating direct contact between the reading public and authors from different generations, and publicizing the achievements of Slovene literature.

Bronka Nowicka, the Polish writer, multimedia artist and one of Literary Europe Live’s New Voices from Europe 2017, will also participate in the Slovene Book Days. On April 20th she will be at the screening of her movies in Ljubljana. On April 22th Bronka will present her art alongside the German writer Birgit Kreipe.

Slovene Book Days are organized by the Slovene Writers’ Associations, one of our partners in the Literary Europe Live project.
