Tramlines Riga residency

LAF and the Latvian Literature centre continue the Tramlines project – putting short story writers on trams in cities across Europe and Egypt. Koen Peeters from Brussels will spend a week-long residency in Riga – riding the trams of the city and observing the urban environment and communities along the route, all of which will form the basis of a short story. A smart phone application containing all the Tramlines stories is being created by LAF and Comma press, which will allow people to listen to or read the stories during their journey on public transport – thereby creating an alternative way to experience a new city.
