Zagreb Reads Europe: Janis Jonevs

The programme Zagreb Reads Europe, conducted by the association Kulturtreger (that runs the book club Booksa) in collaboration with Literature Across Frontiers, presents internationally renowned writers to the Zagreb audience.
On Wednesday 7 June at 8pm, Booksa Book Club will host Janis Jonevs, the Latvian writer and winner of the European Union Prize for Literature. Jonevs will present the Croatian edition of his novel Jelgava 94 and discuss different kinds of writing, like writing books for children, novels, dramas, translations, literary reviews and commercials. The discussion will be moderated by Miljenka Buljević.
Zagreb Reads Europe is a part of our project Literary Europe Live.
