Australia Council for the Arts
The Australia Council for the Arts is the Australian Government’s arts funding and advisory body. The Council supports Australia’s arts through funding, strengthening and developing the arts sector. The Council also collaborates to build new audiences, foster philanthropic support and deepen our understanding of the arts through research.
Each year, it delivers more than $160 million in funding for arts organisations and individual artists across the country, including grants for promotion and production of translated literature as well as fellowships and skills development funds for writers and translators.
