Making Literature Travel

UK-based Firefly International works to overcome boundaries worldwide through friendship, education and the arts. A key project is Reel Festivals: a series of arts, music, and cultural festivals held in the UK and around the world since 2008. The project is based on the idea that art and culture are the best way to break down barriers and increase communication between people. Previous events have focused on Syria , Lebanon , Iraq  and Afghanistan , with poetry , music  and film  events.
