Isula in ghjornu
d’acqua è di ventu
un ragiu d’alba conta
u tempu chì face
Attrachju d’isula
Lune vechje è silenzii spezzati
duv’ellu si spechja
u tempu chì sface
Isula Dea
Zitta è zergosa
Ragiu di tempu in tempurale
Orma turchina
In u pozzu di lume.

Island at dawn
rain and wind
A shaft of light
unveils the day.
Island at dusk
Old moon and shattered silence
reflecting upon
wasted time.
Goddes Island
quiet and angry
Ray of time in the storn
Turquoise print
In the light wells.

Eilân by dei
wyn en rein
in striel fan dage
wat tiid makket.
Eilân yn `e skimer
âlde moannen en tebrizele stiltes
reflektearjend op
wat tiid fernielt.
Goadin eilân
stil en poer
striel fan tiid yn it ûnwaar
turkoaize print
yn `e ljochtboarnen.
