Anja Golob, Slovene poet and one of New Voices from Europe 2016, is participating at the Wales International Poetry Festival that takes place from May 3 to 6.

Anja Golob (1976) has so far published four books of poetry. She also published selections of poems and other texts in numerous magazines, and about 750 theatre critiques. She currently works as a poet, writer, editor and translator in Ljubljana and Brussels. Wales International Poetry Festival returns for a fifth time in 2017, with a series of readings, performances, debates and poetry film screenings over four days in Aberystwyth, Bangor and Caernarfon. The festival will open in Aberystwyth on the 3rd of May before moving to Bangor and Caernarfon on the 5th and 6th of May. To read the bilingual festival program, click here.
