Far Old Line Festival: Poetry Connections India-Wales

On 1 August, at the Far Old Line Festival in Aberystwyth, Poetry Connections India-Wales participants Sampurna Chattarji, Subhro Bandopadhyay, Eurig Salisbury and Nicky Arscott will perform poetry as part of a short walking tour to some of the pubs and locations of Aberystwyth. The night will include a chance to meet characters, hear poetry, listen to songs and learn some facts about the Welsh legend of Cantre’r Gwaelod and the Sea. The performance starts at 7pm at the Richmond Hotel.
Far Old Line Festival is organised by Cwmni Theatr Arad Goch. The project is part of the India-UK Year of Culture. You can find more about it on the Poetry Connections India-Wales website.
With support form British Council Wales and Wales Arts International, the event is part of India Wales, a major season of artistic collaboration between the two countries to mark the UK-India Year of Culture
