After Un homme louche and Un ange noir, his first two novels, François Beaune has just published La Lune dans le puits (Editions Verticales).
In this book, the writer-voyager is inspired by his wanderings throughout the vast blue of the Mediterranean as he compiles the True Stories of the Mediterranean, his collection of true stories, part of the Marseille-Provence 2013 project.
With Transcript, the author discusses his odyssey, which lasted over a year long, the origins of the project and the collection process itself. He also gives us a few reading suggestions from around the Mediterranean…
You can consult the enormous digital library of true stories on the project website: http://www.mp2013.fr/histoiresvraies/
