We are pleased to announce that the first event of our EFFEA project, Counterpoint will be held as part of Gŵyl Arall festival in Caernarfon on Saturday, July 8th.
The three artists who who are part of the project will reflect on local perspectives and attitudes to migration as part of our ongoing collaborative pan-European project. Gareth Evans-Jones, a Welsh writer, dramatist and editor will be joined by Tatev Chakhian, a Poland-based Armenian poet, translator and visual artist and Zofia Bałdyga, a Prague based poet and translator born in Poland. The writers will share the first cycle of their work including poetry which explore themes of separation.
The event takes place at 11:30am BST / 12:30 CEST, at Llety Arall or you can also join us online on Zoom.
