Five gay women poets from Europe gather in Slovenia to translate each other’s poetry. Alicia García Núñez (Spain), Anna Gulczynska(Poland), Anna Mattsson (Sweden), Kallia Papadaki (Greece) and Kristina Hočevar (Slovenia) are spending a week together in Dane (pictured) and Ljubljana working on texts and taking part in a reading at Sežana Library on 11th of June and a performance at Festival Živa književnost  (the Living Literature Festival) in Ljubljana on the 13th of June.

The annual translation workshop is a co-operation between LAF, the Centre for Slovenian Literature and ŠKUC (Students’ Cultural and Art Centre) in Ljubljana.

Read some of the texts from last year’s workshop on translating ‘unofficial’ minority languages.
