Katerina Iliopoulou

Katerina Iliopoulou was born in Athens in 1967. She is a poet, artist and translator, author of poetry collections Mister T., 2007 (first prize for a new author by the literary journal “Diavazo”), Asylum (2008) and The Book of Soil (2011). As a member of the arts collective intothepill she has co-organized poetry and visual arts projects. She has translated the poetry of Sylvia Plath, Mina Loy, Robert Hass and Ted Hughes into Greek. She is editor of a bilingual (Greek-English) anthology of contemporary Greek poetry (Karaoke Poetry Bar, 2007) and co-editor of the bilingual site www.greekpoetrynow.com
